1、 CAB-381-0.5 Ink Solution

Applicable: solvent based gravure printing, screen printing, surface printing ink, metallic silver ink/pearl ink, packaging gloss oil, cigarette packaging, plastic film printing, benchmarking Eastman CAB-381-0.5; Not suitable for water-based ink Eastman.

Addressing industry pain points: silver ink pearl like discoloration, poor metallic feel, overlapping and sticking, plate blocking, slow solvent release, ink film brittleness, pigment coagulation, overprint biting, and post printing adhesion.

Positioning: Auxiliary film-forming resin, not used as the main resin for ink; Low viscosity, suitable for high solid and low viscosity ink formulations.

2、 The core function of CAB-381-0.5 in ink

Metallic pigment orientation: Aluminum silver paste and pearl powder are arranged in a regular manner to enhance the brightness of the metal, suppress flower formation and yin-yang surfaces, improve the silver ink mirror effect, and reduce floating color and silver loss.

Regulating solvent evaporation gradient: speeding up surface drying, increasing printing machine speed, preventing printing rewinding, overlapping and sticking, and reducing the risk of plate blockage.

Stable wetting of pigments: improves the dispersion of carbon black and organic pigments, reduces coagulation and sedimentation, enhances color brightness, and improves storage stability.

Ink film performance: high transparency without fogging, improving ink layer hardness, weather resistance and yellowing resistance; Improve the wetting of PET, BOPP, and PVC films; Enhance the anti biting ability of the cover layer.

Compatibility: Compatible with chlorinated polypropylene, thermoplastic acrylic acid, polyamide, and NC nitrocellulose systems; Esters and ketones are mainly soluble in solvents, and can be combined with some alcohol solvents such as Eastman.
